Welcome to Decatur Pediatric Group’s Telemedicine Program!
Decatur Pediatric Group is excited to announce our new telemedicine program starting on 03/19/2020. We invite you to try this new added program. We are able to offer you an opportunity to connect with one of our providers for a simple sick visit or for chronic illness management through our telehealth program but only after you have signed the written consent form . The form will pop up automatically just prior to entering the visit. A Telehealth visit uses live or real time HIPAA secure video and sound to connect you with one of our providers at a different location. You can have a visit from the comfort of your home or you may be asked to come to one of our office locations to use our telehealth kiosk if the provider needs to visualize your child's ears, listen to their lungs or order any diagnostic tests.
Due to recent developments with Coronavirus, most patients are now eligible to be seen from the comfort of their home. Please check with our staff to see if your child is eligible to participate.
To get started with virtual visits download the app, add a dependent to your account if you have a child(ren) less than 13 years old, and learn how to complete a scheduled appointment in SnapMD. Please read our tips to have a great virtual visit.
Please call our office at (404) 296-7133 with any questions.

What are the Benefits of Virtual Visits?
Fast and Convenient : See a provider by live video and get a diagnosis within minutes. When appropriate, you also can get a prescription to the pharmacy of your choice.
Affordable: The cost of a virtual visit is typically covered by most insurance companies. However if it is not, the virtual visit costs less than an urgent care or emergency room visit.
Secure: Your personal health information is safe and sound during your virtual visit.
Our office telehealth kiosk uses secure software to connect with you during the visit. A trained telehealth presenter will be in the exam room with you to allow us to see your child’s inner ear, mouth and listen to their heart and lungs during the appointment. Telehealth will help us coordinate your child’s care.
