Ms. Marlena Sherman grew up in New Jersey. She went to Boston University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health. She soon realized she wanted to have a more direct impact on children and their families, which led her to a career in pediatric medicine. She was accepted to Emory University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care specialty.
Ms. Marlena is board-certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board in pediatric primary care. Her special areas of interest include childhood obesity and asthma. She enjoys trying new restaurants, exploring Atlanta, and spending time with friends. Her hobbies are traveling, watching movies, and exercising. Ms. Marlena embraces the opportunity to provide the utmost care and advocate for her patients' health and wellbeing. She looks forward to meeting you and your family!
